G2 Solutions is a company formed to service the IT needs of the small and medium sized business market in south-east Queensland, and the Pre-Press and Graphic Arts market in Australia. We specialise in the support of Advertising Agencies, Printers, Newspapers, Graphic Designers and other creative professionals. Both the creative and administrative needs of the computer user are catered for.

Director Bernie Hockings has a long history in the graphic arts industry, rising from compositor to systems manager with Savage Type before embracing the new technology of Apple personal computers with the Byte Centre, then Logical Solutions. Bernie then spent some years in Sales and Support with Autologic, being involved with Imagesetters, Pre-Press systems and of course Macintosh computers. He then formed Gus Systems to provide his own specialised support services to the graphic arts industry. Bernie holds many qualifications and certifications including Apple Service Engineer status.

Director Peter Fell started his career with the Sydney Morning Herald as an electronics technician before becoming a Field Service Engineer with Data General. He moved to Autologic in 1987 where he progressed from Asia-Pacific Technical Support to National Service Manager, then Branch Manager of the Queensland Office where he and Bernie built up a reputation as the can-do people of the industry. Peter left to work for himself as Graphite Computer Solutions before joining Bernie in forming G2 Solutions in September, 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) status and is a qualified Apple Service Engineer.
